Der berühmten Abhandlung "Von der Gesundheit der Gelehrten" über die körperliche und mentale Hygiene geistig schaffender Menschen war ein großer Erfolg beschieden. Er berichtet über die bösen Folgen von Kopfarbeit und sitzender Lebensart, nächtliches Studieren, die eingeschlossene Luft, den brennenden Eifer zur Arbeit, usw. - Berieben. Etwas gebräunt u. fleckig.

A scarce and important study by this most influential contributor to the literature of wine and culinary studies. Condition is generally good, bindings are tight, top edge gilt, some very minor rubbing along spine and edges to both volumes. Some bumping to corners of volume 2, a couple of minor scratches to front board, and about 1" x 4" area at the top is faded.
