Very-good copy of this vintage hardback. NO copyright date indicated. Circa 1900. Blue boards with silver lettering and decoration (mild wear - mainly along edges). ONLY writing inside book is previous owner's signature (in pencil) in book front on blank page "Bessie D. Blair" NO foxing. Light page-tanning. 183 pages. Tight spine. The very-last page in book (blank) has a closed tear. NO other tears inside book.

First Edition First edition. iv + 310 pp. in original gilt lettered cloth which is faded. Spine is split and torn with some small loss at top. Wear at the edges. Endpapers browned, and very minor patches of foxing internally, otherwise clean. A good copy.

First Edition 337pp. a couple of the extreme fore-edges are a little foxed, the spine is a bit bumped and crinkly, and the spine is ever so slightly rolled, but it's still a nice copy. Handsome text on cover
