As Time Glides on
Hutchinson, G. Thompson, Illustrated by Hobden, Frank, Edwards, George H., Hobden, H.F., A. Woodruff
Soft Cover. Very Good -. The Cover of this book is a color illustration of a sailboat on the ocea. G. Thompson Hutchinson seems to be a woman, I am not sure about this, but the frontis has a woman pai nting months of the year. In the background is a window looking outside. There is a vase to her side with cat and nine tales in the vase. Each Month has an illustration next to it. Incredible. Houghto Mifflin gave permission for Longfellow's "September" to be published in it. Very Rare Only the Yale Library has a copy of this book in the US in their rare book division. The London version produced by Hodder and Stoughton is in Brown University's rare book library and G. Thompson Compiled one other book like this. The Shaw library at Florida State University has a copy of Hutchinson's rare book called Twilight Memories: in Picture and Poem. This is a rare book children literature library. Only copy on the internet and worth more than quoted 5/9/2003 10/22/2005 2:06:50 PM 1
