Madeline in London
BEMELMANS, Ludwig
Condition: Very Good - in Very Good DJ. Top edge of DJ slightly. Very slight patch of creasing to the bottom corner of some pages - not offensive. A nice copy overall. :: Further Information: In an old house in Paris that was covered in vines, lived twelve little girls in two straight lines. The youngest was Madeline. One day their friend Pepito, the Spanish Ambassador's son, moved to London, and everyone missed him. Miss Clavel took her charges to London for Pepito's birthday. Madeline found him the ideal present, a retired horse, and took him (even if by mistake), on a glorious tour of London on horseback. Weighs 0.600 Kg. which exceeds standard rates. ::
