William Wilkie Collins, (1824-1889) was an English author who also wrote "Woman In White". * Inserted at the front of this Volume is a copy of the Sandglass, # II:25, a four page folded pamphlet from the Heritage Press. * The book contains an introduction, two prefaces, the table of contents which is divided into three different time periods. * There are 40 line and wash drawings which include portraits of the seven tellers of the tale, 32 of them were colored by Andre Dignimont. * The blue linen binding also has a subtle border pressed into the binding on the front. * CONDITION: The book is in good condition with the spine being faded and moderate wear on the red label. The gold colored box is in very good condition with minor wear surface and edges.
