First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Fair to good. First Edition. Obkong octavo, 279pp., illustrated. A fair to good copy in the publisher's white textured cloth with white cloth spine. The page block has become detached from the casing, but both elements are present. A few early leaves are also detachd, btu present. The volume is internally clean and bright, with no foxing or markings. A well-illustrated volume published at the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Western Reserve, which happens to coincide with the high water mark of wealth and opulence in Cleveland's history, a fact borne out by the content of the photographs included in this souvenir album. Well-known to regional libraries and present in a few notable institutions, this volume is scarce in commerce. Despite its lamentable structural condition, a clean and delightful relic of Cleveland during the Gilded Age.
